Jeanie Wester has performed for many years as a violist in Maine with the Bangor Symphony, Maine State Ballet Orchestra, Maine Chamber Ensemble, Maine Music Society, and Maine Pro Musica. Before moving to Maine she played with the Springfield Symphony in Ohio, Woodbury Symphony and Haddonfield Symphony in New Jersey. Jeanie performed both on violin and viola in many musical pit orchestras in Yarmouth, Brunswick, Lewiston, at Lake Region Community Theatre and Community Little Theater. She has been with the Southern Maine String Quartet for many years.

 Most known for her work with non-profits she has worked with the Brunswick Regional Youth Orchestra now the Maine Youth Orchestra and the LARK Society for Chamber Music, now the Portland String Quartet Society. She teaches violin, viola, and piano in Yarmouth and on Chebeague Island.

Educated primarily as a Chemist with a BS from Wittenburg University and a Masters from the University of Maine in Environmental Chemistry, Jeanie makes time to volunteer with Friends of Casco Bay. She has 4 children and 2 grandchildren,
